Hearing the Bible really well read is a thrilling experience - but, sadly, an all too rare one. Who doesn't love a good story? Hollywood exist to tell them, Mills and Boone make millions selling their romantic pulp fiction and many an hour has been spent at the bars of Australia's pubs telling extremely dubious fishing stories.

I have had the privilege of hearing the Backyard Bard do various story telling presentations - the Easter and Christmas narratives, Judges, Daniel, Esther, Jonah, Samuel, and Elijah.
