Note from the Assistant Director - Robert Turnbull
Even at the best of times, life seems chaotic and random. However, with the benefit of hindsight, it's common enough to look back at events and see a some sort of aptness, or even poetry, in the situation. What I love most about 'Esther' is that, at every level, this story is saturated with this kind of poetic irony. It's this aspect of the story which gives rise to both its wonderful humor and its subtle and profound statement about the workings of God. Please enjoy the show as we get to see poetry in these seemingly chaotic and coincidental events at this time in history.
