Note from the Director - Daniel Farrugia

At various stages in my life, there have been times when events unfolded in a way that seemed to be progressing to some amazingly choreographed plan. In the same way that my old housemate used to organise the crockery in a certain way that was distinctively him, these entropically unlikely events always had the fingerprints of the Spirit of God about them. And just like the playing style of a Grandmaster chess player, you don't know why that knight was moved there until 16 moves later, when their elegant strategy has left you in check.

So I, and as it turns out the storytellers as well, have felt the hidden hand of God in our own lives, and the historical events of Esther mirror our own experiences. Granted, I've never been queen of the Medo - Persian Empire - I probably don't have the calves for it - but the orchestration of events to designs that I seldom appreciate at the time is a regular occurrence in my own life, and how I came to commit my own life to Jesus in the first place. I hope you enjoy the story of Esther as much as we have enjoyed the telling.
