10 Year Celebration

The Backyard Bard has been bringing the art of Biblical Storytelling to Melbourne and beyond for the last decade. Come and celebrate what God has done through this creative ministry and enjoy performances from "bards" old and new.

Middle East Information Night (Sydney)

I'm leaving for Sydney tomorrow to do shows, workshops and more. This may be my last visit to Sydney for the next few years. As part of the week in Sydney, I will be running an information night about the work my wife Simone and I plan to do in the Middle East (which includes Biblical Storytelling, deaf education and more). Please come along to hear more about that part of the world and to learn how you can even join us in the work:

Update about our trip to the Middle East

Simone and I have been planning on leaving the country in August but to do so, we need to have a support team in place before we go. At the moment, there's a strong possibility that we won't be able to reach our financial support target in time. That may mean that we will have to postpone leaving until the next intake time which is in January. If that is the case, then that will mean more of an opportunity to put time into training people here in Australia before we go (amongst other things) so it is not the end of the world.
